FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
The usual line-up is a Pianist/Singer, a Drummer and a Bass Guitarist. Sometimes we add a Female Singer to the line-up, and occasionally, when there are constraints on space, the show is presented by a Solo Pianist/Singer. All the musicians are top class professionals – quality is guaranteed!
The ‘Piano-Stars’ show usually comprises 2 x 1 hour sets, but timings and set lengths are fully negotiable.
We supply everything we need including a specially adapted baby grand piano. The instruments and the sound equipment we use are the best available. Our sound system, which has been supplied by HK Audio systems, delivers theatre quality sound!
We can also supply stage lighting.
We are based in East Anglia but we travel all over the UK and beyond. Provided our travel and accommodation costs are met we will go absolutely anywhere!
We usually like to allow 90 minutes to install the equipment and run a short sound check.
For the usual ‘3-piece’ band set-up, out ideal minimum performance area would be 4 metres (12 feet) wide x 3 metres (9 feet) deep.
There are ways we can fit into a smaller space, one of which would be to use a regular ‘stage’ piano, instead of the baby grand. Obviously we’ll always do our best to be as accommodating as possible.
We’d need an electrical power supply somewhere fairly close to the playing area,but we can comfortably run all our equipment from one power socket.

We don’t usually require a deposit, although we do sometimes request that our travel / accomodation costs (where applicable) are paid in advance.
